2. Do I incur any additional charge if I pay my contribution through credit card?

Yes. Your Organization will be charged 2.9% plus 0.30 cents per transaction by Paypal (Check www.paypal.com for the latest processing fee) for every credit card transaction. This is a fee which most credit card processing company charges the merchant in this case your non-profit organization. This means if you donate $100 using credit card, only $96.80 is credited to your Organizations account and $3.20 is the processing charge which is deducted by Paypal. To enable the organization to fully get the amount that you chose to contribute, online donors are charged back this processing charge by their organization. Which means for a actual donation of $100.00, you will be charged $103.20 if you pay by credit card. To avoid this extra charge, you can pay by check. However, credit card payments are instant and money is available to the organization immediately.

6. What if there is a dispute and I want my amount refunded to my credit card?

Send a mail to your Organization General Coordinator indicating the reason. Your General Coordinator should be able to fully issue a refund to your credit card if you mail your claim within 30 days from the date of your transaction. After the 30 days period, the decision to refund back your money is that of your General Coordinator. In such cases, your organization can issue a refund check in your favour.

However your organization can maintain their account with Paypal only in US Dollars (USD), Canadian Dollars (CAD), Euro (EUR), Sterling Pounds (GBP) and Japanese Yen (JPY).
